On Saturday, June 6th, D-Day, Democracy Day is coming and we want you to join us in Bedford to honor those who fought fascism on the beaches of Normandy by bringing that same spirit of resistance peacefully home. Exact location will be sent before the event!
Our action will be connected to a thousand other Visibility Brigades on D-Day, with one mission: to help save our country.
HONOR THE BEDFORD BOYS BY STANDING UP TO FASCISM!
Our Messaging: Pro-democracy. Anti-fascist. Rooted in history, urgent in the present. We honor those who gave everything in WWII, lift up FDR's Four Freedoms, and draw a clear line between the sacrifices made on those beaches and the moment we are living through right now.
We will supply a large message for passing cars to see that you can stand over and wave. You are welcome to bring your own smallers signs, play music, wear inflatables, costumes and bring gift cards to donate to a local veterans aid group.
